yes yes, i'm sure you've all heard this many times before........
but should i get an imac or an ibook.
imac = 15", 1ghz, faster ram
ibook = 14" 933mhz, slower ram, portable.....
i'll be doing heavy video editing and using it as a recording studio.
final cut pro and garageband / soundtrack.
also fireworks and photoshop.
will the difference in speed be extreme from that -77mhz and slower ram?

either way im glad to be getting away from the pc!

I think these few sentences here should be your reasons for going with the iMac. You want as much power as you can get when using those applications

Depends on how important mobility is to you. You'd be amazed at the places I carry my Powerbook... and almost as amazed at how many places i find a use for it...
