Hi,

I have a problem with safari (web surf application) it will not display it in english or any of the characters properly on some web site, for example at en.wikipedia.org see the link for the character set it uses and how it makes it illegible. I've tried fixing it in the prefs but it doesn't change anything.

see link: http://www.c-21.co.uk/safari.jpg

or view attchment

What can i do to change this? I have a G5 with OS X Tiger as the operating system.

Thanks in advance

Check view-> text encoding and make sure that the encoding is set to Western (iso latin 1).

Did that, thanks for the suggestion, turns out it was a font problem, Safari was looking for Helvetic in the fonts folder but found an alternative without the character set, i deleted it out restarted and now all looks fine.
