I want to deleted the first part of documents names with automator but, can't find the right script!

An exemple will explain

EX:
The names look like : 1- 12 String Dream 05.aif
and I want them to be : 12 String Dream 05.aif

So, I want to delete the : «space» 1- «space» to leave the main name (12 String Dream 05.aif)

Have a solution?

Sounds like more of a job for Apple Script.

If the "-" is a constant I'd begin with something like delete everything before the "-" the " " after the "-" and finally the "-"

I am not a script writer, but that's what I'd attempt to do.
