I just saw that on Apple's website.
I like the "bluetooth" aspect of it. I will have to make a special trip the Apple store this weekend to test it out.

This is exactly what I've been waiting for. I love the scroll ball of the mighty mouse, and being able to just pop it out of my bag and use it with my macbook with no connectors, dongles or other nonsense would be the icing on the cake.

when apple wants to keep a secret, they do a pretty good job at it... so if FCC releases pics, apple is already about to sell it lol

i'm happy I held out on another bt mouse.. i'll pick this up as soon as my store has it

It looks really nice, but as nice as it is, the price is a little steep... $70 for a mouse.... I can do just fine a cheaper logitech mouse...

But I guess some people have want it because its matches apple's computers perfectly.

I agree. the price IS steep. Typical for any electronic that is new though. Think of it this way though, if you're REALLY wanting a Mighty Mouse, I'm sure the corded ones will go down in price. :yinyang:

wow 69 dollars for the mighty mouse. In my opinion 50 was too much for the wired one!

Apple will always charge more, they charge £300 more for RAM than equaly good competitors.

I just bought my wired ones less than a week ago...

At least they didn't drop the price of the wired one...

Did anyone else notice this about the new Bluetooth MM? Read carefully, they claim it's a Laser mouse and not just an Optical like the Wired MM. Saw it two places, in the Apple Store and under Hardware.

Any major advantage if it is a laser mouse. I would assume it would mean it would be more acurate than the current one. I tried the wired one in the apple store on the apple mouse pad and it was slow and un responsive, also hard to get to be accurate.

A Laser mouse has a lot more DPI and is more accurate and works better on more surfaces.

Well if it can eliminate the "jumping" that the optical mice tend to do, thats good.

I'm ordering this tonight or tomorrow morning. Last night there was the rumor, this morning it was put on sale by Apple, crazy. Haha.
