does OSX have this? it does understand commands so maybe i figured it might have speech to text (so i can use it while chatting, or writing something) or not?

I mean does it come built in, or would I have to buy it? because I cant find it :(

I highly reccomend iListen for dictation.

I think OSX has some basic speech input capabilities, OS 8 & 9 did, but I've never used them so I'm not sure.
