I'm considering FileMaker Pro 8.5 for my Intel Based iMac...
I just downloaded the trial last night and it seems pretty decent so far. I have a couple of questions:
1) As anyone used the Advanced version and can you actually create and redistribute applications with runtimes so users don't need to have FileMaker?
2) If I start with the Pro Version, can I upgrade to the advanced version and easily port and add runtimes to stuff I've created in the pro version?
I have some stuff in mind that I would like to create for myself to run my business. If it works well, I may want to package for sale. Filemaker pro seems like a great choice since I could be Windows and Mac very easily from what I'm reading.
