Hello there everybody,
I have posted already regarding similar issue.
I don't seem to be able anymore to view my share folders on network either on my intel mac or my fedora machine.
I have finally managed to share usb printer connected to fedora machine but unfortunately no share folders or network drive seem to appear in the network list.
Several network folders are displayed on my network pane but none of them appear to be working.
Everytime I try to open of these network folders I get a "fix alias" message and then I root previlege message for trying to delete them.
One of the network folders displayed is the one related to my network Hub (thomson) which in turn requires username and password but then displays same "fix alias" message.
My intel mac is connected to the wireless hub via airport while my fedora machine uses an ethernet cable. When I try to access the share folder from fedora by clicking on the network folder the machines keeps on browsing the folder without displaying anything. I have appletalk enabled either on my fedora machine or my mac and i've also anabled the windows share in the network properties.
I honestly do not know what else to try.
can anyone please point me in the right direction?
Thanks a lot
Mircoh
