Yesterday, I was talking to a PC friend of mine about my .Mac membership but he had a hard time understanding it until I described the specific features. I was wondering if anyone has a good way of summarizing this service in a high-level way? I know Apple describes it as "a suite of Internet essentials, designed to help you get more out of your Mac and the web."

Also does anyone know of an offering like this for PCs? Need to get something for my parents.

"a suite of Internet essentials, designed to help you get more out of your Mac and the web",...which is basically things you can either find for free online... or pay Apple $100 a year for. :black:

Tell him it's basically just an eMail, webspace, iStorage which is basically a thing to hold files, and greeting cards.
