Windows Printing

At home I have a Canon iP1600 connected to my Airport Express. I can print to it fine from my PowerBook G4, and I love the convenience. I had to install the drivers from the web, as my optical drive doesn't work, and I don't have an external one.

At my in-law's place, they have the same printer. It is connected to an XP box, and shared. My wife's iBook can print to it with no problems, but I can't seem to add it through the Printer Setup Utility. I can see the printer, but I can not choose the proper driver (although I know I have it on my computer)! I have tried to select it using the "Other" option and going to library-printers-canon and there is a file in there called iP1600, but it is greyed out and I can't select it.

What do I need to do to add this printer? Is there any way of doing it without the CD?
