Photoshop Error

well, never saw this before, but today when I tried to open photoshop CS it said

"connection failed, the server ay not exist, check the server or IP.... etc".

anyone know what this means? I've never seen it before.

I remember hearing some time ago that photoshop cs "phones home" every time you start it to make sure it's not a pirated version or something. But I've never seen that message and I've used photoshop cs while not connected to any network and I've never seen that message. So basically I have no idea why that would come up

i believe there were updates today, make sure your connection to the internet was working correctly

I'm most certainly connected to the internet.

What version of OSX are you running? Adobe has had errors with 10.4.2 and connecting.http://photoshopnews.com/2006/03/14...th-internet-after-you-start-adobe-bridge-103/
It mentions something about Adobe Bridge and a service update :dummy:
