Hi. I have a XP, Ubuntu and Panther machine running and I access the Mac and Linux with VNC and a KVM Switch. For some reason the Mac will not give me a resolution greater than 640 x 480 @ 67hz. I tried cscreen to no avail. How do I manage to increase the resolution without having the monitor directrly plugged in when I start the mac and then switch it out to the KVM. I would really prefer to run them on VNC so I have access without having to "switch" the KVM but need (well, WANT is a better word) better resolution on the Mac.
Thank you
Oh, on a side note. This is a 300 Mhz PowerPC G3 with 352 Mb RAM. Is there any way to install Tiger on this. I tried and it told me it couldnt install on this hardware. I am not Mac literate enough to warrant buying a G4/5 or a mini or the like yet but would gladly run Tiger if possible.
Thank you
