Hi all - I have a PC with a QuickCam Pro 500 and want to videochat with a relative who has iSight. Can this work? Sorry, I don't know this much...

Yes, you both get America On Line (AOL) accounts, and your relative downloads and installs AOL Instant Messenger (AIM).

And by AOL accounts, he means AIM accounts - you don't need to be an AOL subscriber.

The PC version can't be the latest Triton release either, you'll need the older AIM client.

The Skype OS X client doesn't support video yet.

But it will any day now.....It is already developed. A beta version is out there , though the official release is due very soon.
