Which PCI card can I use?

Hi. I have a 802.11g network already set up in my house with the majority of computers being Windows PC. I have a G4 Dual 500 that I want to add to the network. Is the only card available for this the Airport card? Are there third party network cards that have plug and play capabilities. I hate hacking the computer to make them work.

Thanks.

No - there are several third party cards out there - D-Link first comes to mind - my roommate had to get one because he didn't want to pay $150 for an original Airport. He has the last MDD G4 that require the original.

Do you happen to know which model number? Or will any d-link wireless PCI card work?

Cruise their website - they'll list which ones are Mac OS compatible. The one in his computer specifically is the Aria Extreme PCI (54). It installed like a dream for him, I want to say it was $70-75.
