iBook ram question

I have recently upgraded from an 14 inch iBook G4 and my mum has a 12inch G3 iBook and i was wondeing if it would be possible to remove the ram from my old ib and fit into my mum's. Is this possible or are there compatability problems?

from what I can tell here, the 14" G4 takes 133MHz RAM, while the G3 takes PC100. They're the same size so you could stick them in her iBook but they'd run only as fast as the PC100's in there. So yes it will work, but the RAM won't be as fast as it can be in the G4. Hope that helps.
