I have some video I purchased from iTunes in an .m4v format that I'd like to put on a dvd. iDVD says that it doesn't know the format and I have to use iMovie to import the file to a recogniseable type. iMovie doesn't know what to do with it either; I get an error message saying it can't be parsed. I tried Streamclip, it doesn't know the file type. I tried ffmpeg, and when I drop the m4v file in, it says that it is a mov file, and when I press 'encode' I get the ready ding immediately, and no file saved in the path I specify. Any help?
