Hi there,

I'm a windows user so I'm a little clueless to mac stuff. I'm a web designer and I host a site for someone who uses a mac. She wants her clients to be able to ftp files to her. I was trying to make it easy for her by showing her how to do this in Internet Explorer but she's not able to do this. What do you suggest I tell her is the easiest way for her to be able to accomplish this? Is there a free ftp program that she can download? Is there any function in a mac based browser that will let her ftp through a browser?

Thanks for your help.

All modern browsers support FTP. On the Mac, you can use Safari. If you just want to read files from the server, you can also use Finder by going to 'Go -> Connect to computer' and typing:

ftp://<ip of machine>/
