File swapping maybe?

Hello.

My Mac Mini comes on Monday <3.

I want to hook an ethernet cord up to both of the computers and take a bunch of flies off my PC and put them on my Mac. I don't want them networked, because I wont use this PC again. I also only have one monitor, so I'll need to set the PC side up before I do everything, because I wont be able to run the PC.

If you know of an websites that could help, or maybe if you can, I'd love you forever and give you an internet cookie.

Two more things: How do I get my PC's network address in the form of smb://DNSname/ShareName (What is a sharename?) and, what do I need to set up on my Windows side before I unhook everything?
