help my computer is talking!

could anyone help me? my computer speaks whenever i type somthing or click somthing how do i turn it off? lol

hit f5. it is the voice over, you can also find it in System Preferences under Universal Access

thats what i thought at first too, but when i double checked it i discovered it was just f5. i dont think i changed it...

Strange, my iMac G5 is totally stock and shows Apple+F5. Will check my iBook later. Strange!

i must have changed it somehow then. i don't remember doing it but that doesn't mean i didn't. in that case, ipwnt1 go into System Preferences and click on Universal Access. Turn off the VoiceOver and your computer should stop talking to you. Now i think ill try to figure out what i did to change that
