Additional RAM?

I already have a 1GB Stick or DDR2 667Mhz in my MBP but wanted to add another 1GB, can anyone recommend where to buy (in the UK) and are Crucial and Kingston good brands to go for (ie- are their RAM chips reliable)?

What about Corsair RAM I have seen them sold on a few places?

Although I do not know where to get ram in the UK, here is the Deal Mac shopper for the ram you need. Personally, I bought my ram from Mac Solutions n Los Angeles when I bought my MBP. It was just a generic strip. it works perfectly.

I have found a place called www.scan.co.uk which are very good and very competitive prices. They have 1GB Corsair RAM for my MBP for around £60.


Does anyone have or know where I can get a guide to fit the RAM into the MBP- I could only find instructions for the Macbook on the Apple website?

It is very easy to fit the new stick in. The instructions are actually in the "Help" on your MBP. Do a search on Spotlight. The install should only take you a couple minutes. Trust me...if I can do it in under 5 minutes (I am totally a non geek), you can do it quicker!

I just picked up a gig of that for my 17" MBP and it works great. Plus it's a killer price!
