airport on emac

I purchased a airport extreme card for my emac in jan. It has been working perfectly. 2 weeks ago i got a macbook and just gave my emac to my dad. when i brought the emac home from college i plugged it in and it doesnt show the airport signal so i took it out and plugged it back in and still nothin, it says that no hardware found. any suggestion

sounds like the card is dead. unfortunately, no real advice to give, if it doesnt recognize the card as being in the machine, theres not a whole lot to do. if its less than a year old, bring it to an apple store and see if they'll warranty exchange it. good luck!
