One thing I really miss from the Windows world is the "snap to" feature of the mouse. Pretty much everybody's mouse driver provides this, and it causes the mouse pointer to jump to the default button in a dialog. In Mac OS X's case, that button is usually the one that is pulsing blue. Is there a way to make the mouse pointer simply jump to the default choice?

Most mac users just use keyboard commands.

Under system preferences, go to the keyboard preferences and check the keyboard shortcuts tab. Make sure 'full keyboard access' is enabled for 'all controls'.

You can just hit enter to select the default choice, space to select the option with the blue edge or escape for cancel. Full keyboard access also lets you use tab to switch between the options and then hit space to select one.

Alternatively look into alternative mouse drivers:
This one apparently has a snap to feature:

Thanks for the help guys, but I'm floored!

Steer Mouse - $20.00. Lazy Mouse - $6.85

...for a Snap To feature? Sheesh!! Highway robbery. This ought to be default behaviour.

Well, you can always just hit the Return button on the keyboard for free....
