Final cut pro will not start.

I have Final cut studio and all the other applications works accept Final cut pro. I try to start it the it looks for my video camera which I tell it to continue and it shuts down. What is the problem?

Have you got a retail version or a crack? If you got retail try reinstalling it, also would elp if we knew what your mac was (specs and all).

It is a power Mac G5 2.3 It is the I think it is the retail I got it with the universal upgrade Apple from Soundtrack pro.
