Difference btw WSXGA(Macbook pro 17"?) and WUXGA in other 17" laptops..?

Difference btw WSXGA(Macbook pro 17") and WUXGA in other 17" laptops..? :p

THe Dell 17" and the VAOI 17" have the WUXGA.. I think Macbook pros have a WSXGA ... so i gess they will have the better monitor then...?

Exactly. It would be better to have that on a larger monitor size, like 19" or higher. On a 15" WS, that resolution makes things way to small for my tastes.

WUXGA is a very high resolution, 1900x1200, versus 1680x1050 WSXGA. WUXGA would really be good for two apps side-by-side say Dreamweaver right next to your web browser so you don't have to click around to find it. Or for things like photoshop to really show detail. In the end, if you re doing these types of things an external monito would be best, and they are likely to have the higher res.
