Hi,
I've just purchased a 17" MBP which will be with me shortly and want to install an additional gig of RAM. I have heard that the 17" MBP's ship with Crucial RAM as standard, can anyone confirm that this is true as I may want to match the RAM stick for stick, which leads me on to my next question: Will I notice any performance gains by matching the ram in this way or should I just save some money and buy some slightly cheaper, non-crucial ram?
All advice is welcome.
