Hello,
Recently I tried to run diskwarrior and upgrade to Tiger only to find a strange problem.

Whenever I try to run disk warrior by selecting my cdrom as a start up disk then rebooting (or by pushing "c" during boot sequence". It takes me to a black screen with a cursor prompt that says.
-sh-2.05#

Whenever I try to upgrade to tiger it of course asks me to restart. Once it restarts it brings me right back to my desktop as if nothing happened.

Here are my spec's
G4 Power pc 1ghz, 512mb ram
Phillips CDD5301 cd/dvd(stock), Pioneer DVD-RW110D dvd/cd (patchburn)
Adaptec Scsi card 2906 ( no device hooked up currently )
Mac OS X 10.3.9

I've tried:
zapping the PRAM
reseting the NVRAM
and
unhooking the pioneer drive

In advance , I greatly appreciate any help or ideas
Im scratching my head on this one...
