Howdy,
I just upgraded my old G4 400 MHz Sawtooth machine with a Sonnet Encore/ST 1 GHz card. The machine's a lot faster, but I think I can do better. I know the Sawtooth had 2X AGP, which isn't all that great, but I'd like to upgrade the first-generation ATI Radeon 32 MB card with something a bit snappier.
What's the best card? Given that this machine is limited to 2X AGP, which current video card will work? Which will provide the best performance? I doubt it would be worth the effort to put a GeForce FX 5200 card in this old monster.
Any advice is appreciated.
