Apple Pages is more a publisher than word processor, but does a nice job. Costs 79$.

I use Word and it runs just fine under Rosetta.

i dont have no mac's
iwork is universal.

i think openoffice runs universal.

but think of this, even if office isnt universal how slow can a word processor program be under emulation?!?!?! it isnt like you are rendering huge images or anything, you are typing words. good luck w/ the choice

I use the OpenOffice.org 2.0.1 beta, which is the first universal one. Neooffice, which is a native (as opposed to X11) version of OpenOffice.org is set to be a free beta on 1st July. Until then, you can get access by a small donation to the cause :)
