- iMac Core Duo 20", iBook G4, iPhone 8GB :)

After months of waiting and waiting, the iMac Core Duo 20 inch is
finally sitting in my room, staring at me with its bright screen. I
must say it is truly a wonderful machine (even though some might have
know that it is...)
First thing I did was played the 1080p Ghost Rider trailer i had
downloaded specifically for the machine. It played 12 fps on my P4
3.0Ghz. Playback was flawless on the mac. 24 fps at all times. And the
20 inch widescreen is simply gorgeous. Bright, crisp and good contrast.
I can feel the difference more than anyone else cause I don't have a
TV, so its a big jump for me.
And the sound quality is not all that bad. I mean, I know it lacks bass
(totally no bass), but its midrange and treble are extremely capable.
And apple has made sure that it doesn't distort at full volume. But I
will be getting the Logitech Z2300 or Klipsch GMX 2.1 system for that
(any suggestions?)
Only thing was it gave some trouble with photoBooth on First Boot. It
would countdown and then hangup (the app). But after a restart all was
fine.
I set up a wireless network between the iBook and iMac. Worked well
enough that i started transferring apps into the iMac. Then after doing
all that I played a video clip in VLC only to realise that they were
not Universal apps. Had to delete all the old software.
Anyway, thanks for reading this post.
