Hello,

I just bought an iBook yesterday, and when i use AIM there are sporadic times in which the AIM program gets an error and has to shut down. From researching on-line, i learned AIM is not very stable with MAC's; however, i was wondering if there is any way to resolve this issue?

Can anyone help me? It is very annoying, because i use AIM as my primary messaging program. :eek:neye:

Is there a reason you need to use AIM and not iChat or something like Adium? Both work fine with AIM screen names. I seem to recall having issues with AIM as well.

Ditto what geekboy posted. Anything that comes from AOL is bound not to work correctly. The above program, Adium, handles your AIM account and should be trouble free. Give it a try.

Like the other two members here said, AIM from AOL on the Mac is not a very good application. Nothing from AOL is really good. Give iChat a go for AIM. If you don't like that, try Adium.
