I have been trying my hand in progressively more difficult personal software creations and now I want to create my very own custom-made firewall. Only one problem, I'm not total sure how to get my computer to notify my software when a port request has been made. Does anyone have some advice on how to scan for these new requested ports? If not can some one point me to another forum that could be more in the sphere of what I'm wanting.
