iMovie should do the trick from a camcorder, just plug it in and it should pick it up. If you mean a digital camera the new Iphoto '06 will upload the videos in to Iphoto. If you aren't running that try Image Capture, in the Applications folder.

Hope that helps

trying to get to the bottom of this. What are the specs of your Mac, when did you get it, which OS is installed? Macs come with iLife installed when you buy them new which has iPhoto and iMovie.

Since this is Video you are trying to upload, you need iMovie. That is part of the iLife 05 install.

On the main iMOVIE window are controls at the bottom. There is a slide switch. It defalts to edit with a sicissors icon. Switch it to the Left where it shows the little camera. Does your camera show up? I was trying to find out if your camera is supported and a few sites seemed to list it as supported in OSX.

Sorry, I put isight instead of imovie. Let us know if the camera shows up in iMovie.

Also it only works if you are using a camera that has firewire.
