A Family of Windows XP Haters

Well my family finally made the switch. After countless years of being fed up with the trials and tribulations of a Microsoft operating system, we became mac owners. We made a trip to Chicago today and purchased 3 powerbook G4's. Two of the three were the 17inch model and the third was a 15in. So far we are all really pleased, and setting up the home network for my parents was a breeze!

I am very happy with my new computer and I am glad I finally made the switch. Now hopefully I will have enough motivation to put my photoshop skills to use.

Make sure you get something called Tigerlaunch. It's great. And WeatherPop. Just look 'em up on Google.

I use Google. It's already in the top of Safari. Versiontracker is good if you know you want a certain type of program though.

If I remember correctly WeatherPop isn't free? Get Konfabulator. It comes with a pretty little widget called The Weather. And you don't have to pay for it.

Konfabulator is not free either.. it's shareware and I believe is $20

If you ignore the nag windows, anything is free...

You really need to get homeland 2.1. Couldn't think of anything I'd rather have on my mac

What are other things besides Tigerlaunch, sidetrack, weatherpop that is nice?

Also, what can you use for iBook to listen to shoutcast.com? Currently using winamp on pc.

There used to be a winamp for mac. Don't know where it has gone. But it sucked.
