I played wow on my pc before switching over to mac, and it ran so smooth on max settings. That was on a x800 pro graphics card, 2GB ram, AMD64 3000+. Now, I have it installed on my new iMac 20" 2.0Ghz intel core duo, 1GB ram, x1600 256mb and it runs pathetically. With the default settings which isn't near max, I get between 20 and 30 fps. I don't understand, the x1600 is supposed to be more powerful than the x800, the processor is faster as well, only thing it doesn't have is 2GB ram. Any ideas?
