DVD to Pocket PC?

I want to be able to watch my DVD's on my pocket pc. On my PC I used a couple of programs that will extract and shrink my DVD movies into one file - usually an avi. I then used windows media encoder to shrink it down one more time and the movie is usually around 140 megs and the quality is great on my PPC. What software do I need for my Mac PB to be able to do all of this? Thanks.
