Stuck pixel on 15" G4 iMac

My 6 month old iMac has a pixel that is stuck red. I have tried shutting down and massaging it. I understand that manufacturers require 7 to be out before there is a repair. I purchased 3 years of apple care with my iMac. Is it possible to replace the screen?

20" iMac C2D 2.16ghz, 13" MacBook 2.0ghz, 60gb iPod vid, 1gb nano
They will not replace the screen with only 1 dead pixel. I have never had one and massaging is the only thing i have heard of but maybe some other people have some insights into this
