Is there a noticable difference between the 128 and 256 x1600? I know VRAM is not the most important part of graphics, but I am curious if there is a big performance jump. I am going to get an MBP next week and this is a big part of which I get. Is it worth the extra $500? I highly doubt it, but curious nonetheless.

What are you using the MBP for? Video editing? High-end animation? Avid gaming? All these are GPU intensive. If not, 128 will be plenty.

im not sure of the difference, but a suggestion if you are going to game on it, games seem to run better in windows, so maybe think about bootcamp and go about a performance increase that way :)

I believe Blizzard has since gone Universal, so you shouldn't see a decrease in performance for WoW. I'd double check with Blizzard though.

I run WoW on a 9800 Pro with 128MB VRAM, and it runs well. WoW has always seemed to like system memory more than video memory. I think that $500 difference to upgrade is not worth it.
