problems ejecting iPod!

sometimes the iPod will not eject! It will suggest quitting other programs before ejecting, so I'll quit iTunes. Sometimes that works, sometimes it doesn't. Does anyone else have this problem? Is there a way to fix it?

I've had to disconnect my iPod many times before it was properly ejected, I just don't want to screw up my iPod...

This happens to me too,
but only for my 2nd gen one.

The only solution I have now is to press the eject button in Finder once again after that message comes up...
