stuffit unraring problem

alright so a friend of mine is having a problem unraring files, he said that he has tried to unrar files on his desktop and it shows them extracting but they dont show up on the desktop. any ideas? i can ask him if you need more info.

StuffIT since trasitioning to a Mac OS X program has sucked quite frankly, and why it thinks it can un-RAR is anyone's guess. Search in google for UnRarX—that will work perfectly.
