I got a new HDD for an old Emac. It's a Seagate 20GB ATA. I have posted on other sites and no one ever helps. When I boot up off the OS X CD, no HDD is recognized. The old HDD wasn't recognized and neither is this one. The jumper is set to cable select and I have also tried all other jumper settings. I've read that sometimes you have to prep the HDD for MAC OSX install. I have had this Emac on my hands for the last year and really want to give it back to it's owner. So please help me!!!!
