ibook only run on AC adapter

Hi
I have a problem my ibook only run on AC adapter, it doesnt charge the battery at all. I tried to use a different battery it still does the samething.

Well at first glance, I'd suggest it was a bad battery - But hey if you've tried a second battery too....That is quite strange.
Do you have AppleCare still? If so I suggest you give Apple a call.
If it isn't the battery there is something seriously wrong with the laptop and it's....well.....Ability to charge?

it's out of warranty and it doesn't charge at all....
It only runs with an AC adapter, so I can only use my laptop as a desktop now lol
Any other suggestions?

Hopefully someone else here will be able to help further, but my only advice is that you may want to consider getting this looked at for repair, by the sounds of it.
Unless of course you're happy to just run it off the power.
