Changing the machine name?

Hello,

When I first set up our iMac, it gave us the opportunity to "name" the machine.

I wish to change this, but for the life of me I can't figure out where I do this.

I have checked through everything on System Preferences.

Look in Sharing prefs. At the top where it says Computer name you can edit the text box.

Well ? Enquiring minds want to know.

Assuming you figured out how to do it, to what did you re-name your machine ?

Personally, I'm rather partial to"INFERNAL_COMPUTING_MACHINE". :bushman:
BTW For what it's worth, this is my very first post here @ MacForums.
