yes you did! You said 'you were close geographically'!

Dunedin?

This apple thing... what venue(s) are they being held at? Being in Whangarei I haven't seen anything advertised.

Yes Dunedin, home of the extinct volcano and a little snow sometimes. As for the geographically clue, you gave me a choice of three and Dunedin was one of them, sorry.

Re apple update, they are on in a couple of weeks in Dunedin, Chch, well and Auckland go to the apple.co.nz website for lots of details. I only found out cause my husband got a postcard from them. Theres an apple seminar, digital video seminar thing, lots of computers to drool over and 3rd party stands. Macromedia are going to be there, I love freehand I use it all the time. They are also having a competition for a 12" powerbook and an ipod if you go to the apple seminar.

The weather has been really good down here the last couple of days, we are having north-westers and yesterday the high temp was 28 degrees (celcius). We had really weird clouds yesterday, they came from australia where they are having the bushfires. In the middle of the day the clouds were black, grey, red, purple, yellow.

Wow, I remember last year I think it was, I was out camping at the beach and saw the red glow (or was it the year before they had fires?) to the west, but I haven't seen anything like that this year.
