Converting quicktime .mov to watch on TV

Hi

I bought some CD video tutorials (Quicktime mov) which I can play on the mac I would like to convert them so I can put them on DVD and watch on the television, does anybody know an easy way to do this? I tried idvd but it wdidn't work very well. I am using OS X 10.2.9

You can load the mov clips into imovie which allows to convert them to mpeg, alternativley you can go apples website and look for something that converts in there downloads section.
