What do the charger colors mean??

Hey

Just got mum a new Mac Book Pro......wondering what the colors on the charger led mean?? Orange means charging?, green charged?, what about red? See saw it go red today & had an issue getting it to start up

Might be a power management unit issue...
(Can be reset, but if all seems well again now I'd just leave it).

sometimes RTFM helps, especially for such basic questions...

Yeah I though red was a bit strange....yeah it has so far only happened once so will monitor & see if she see's red again

I will check the manual tomorrow (I don't live with the old's and it's at there place) but thought someone might know in the mean time as im going to be a bit pushed for time when i go there tomorrow.....I did try searching online prior to posting but only came up with the orange & green...can't see any mention of red.
