We have a solid user base here at Mac-Forums.com. How many of you use IRC and do not join the #mac-forums channel? Or how many of you do not use IRC, and why?

Many questions around this... the goal, get people in the IRC chat. Please vote!

I use Mac-Forums IRC. I like the people I meet there. Even more fun with everyone shows up at the same time!

I voted "I do not have IRC, but I would like to join the mac-forums channel" because I use to have IRC but never really understood the process of getting voice, and when I was there, nobody really was.. but if you guys are on there and you recommend a good IRC client, then maybe I will start going again, since i did win mtotm, I should have voice now ;)

I joined the channel like 6 months ago, but I have only visited it once or twice...

A) it was hard to set up

B) not that many people were on

I do have IRC, but I don't generally join IRC chats. I have never really been fond of them and just don't do them. Never saw much point in them.

I have IRC, but never really got into it much either...

Maybe it's because I'm over in Europe and with the time difference all you guys are never there when I show up...

I have IRC but never use it, likewise with chat apps I am always just too busy and/or too knackered to sit at my Mac when I come in from work ;)

Not a fan of IRC really.
But I might check out the Mac-Forums Channel in the future :)

[x] I used to use mIRC on Windows, but there's no decent IRC client for MacOS. Bugger.
