How long did it take to recieve your Mac?

How long from purchase date to doorstep. I just ordered an iMac 17" Core Duo 1.83Ghz w/ 160 GB HD, 1GB RAM and so on.

don't be so impatient..
apple let's you track your order on their website.. so why don't you just do that?

Mine took 5 days total. Ordered on Friday and received it on wednesday. Apple said 5-8 working days, I got it in 3 working days (5 including the weekend). A lot of it depends on how close you are to the Apple regional distribution center, at least in the US.

Mine took two weeks, but my PowerBook is (as you can tell from my specs) customized to the furthest degree, so it was understandable.

My iPod took about two weeks, but I assumed they had a backup, as when I first ordered it they projected it to actually leave Apple about a week and a half after I ordered it... other than that took NO TIME whatsoever, Apple's usually good on shipping.

where is apples distribution located? like where does it ship from?

It depends on where you live as to which distribution center it ships from. I don't know where they are all located in the US.

Where do you live i live in New York i bet they have one close. New York is one of the most popular states in the country and one of the most populated.

I live North of LA, and the regional center is in Irvine Ca, just south of LA...

i ordered mine on friday a few hours after my old computer died. i think it arrived the next wednesday. i thought it was pretty good.

I must be lucky, living within 35 minutes of 3 apple stores

I could have gotten mine at an Apple store (I have 5 within an hours drive) but got a better deal on-line. I have a buddy who works for Apple, and the employee discount is 15%.

I recieved mine in about 2 weeks. I had a special order too.

I ordered mine on May 5th. I still haven't gotten it yet, but I'm hoping either sometime early this week. It's shipping to Canada though.
