MacBook Air, Oz 10.13.3, 256gb:-
In view of recent scares I recently tried using three different anti-malware anti-viral programs (one at a time!) on my Mac having previously relied on its supposed 'immunity'.
I had a shock to see how many rogue files were picked up. The results from each were not the same.
What actually got up my nose was that none of them stated which items were Mac relevant ie capable of infecting Macs. I presume most of them were Windows dedicated, if not nearly all of them, but the programs failed to inform us which were the ones that can do us harm.
Surely that is primarily what we Mac users want to know? If anyone knows of a good anti-malware program that accomplishes this satisfactorily please advise.
Many thanks
Paul
