Question:

I have a iMac 21.5 (mid 2017) 4k retina. I installed Windows 10 but the problem is my eyesight is poor and I am running it in 1920x1080. The scaling feature in Windows 10 is poor and nothing like the Mac because a lot of Apps I use don't scale right. I also like 1920x1080 its perfect for me. The problem is the fonts are not sharp when using it at this resolution. I am curious if anyone has tried or is running Windows 10 on a iMac 21.5 (mid 2017) NON-RETINA 1920x1080 model. If so how does it look?? I am wondering if it is much better for Windows purposes.

Any insight would be appreciated.

Thanks
Charles Conrad

Actually, the Retina models scale better than the non retina. Anytime you run a display other than at its native resolution you will get a certain amount of distortion or blurriness. You may be better off purchasing an external monitor and using it with your retina 21.5" iMac.
