Hackintosh|Feedback from Mac OSX Users

What are your thoughts on Hackintosh systems as far as price, performance, and how they compare to real Macs. I know this is technically illegal but what do you think about them. (I am a PC user myself)

I've got a feeling this topic is going to be a non-starter...

Well we do not discuss Hackintosh systems on this forum as it is illegal to install OS X on anything but an Apple computer. Sorry.

Oh yeah probably should've remembered Apple was so defensive of their OS and doesn't want people using it unless they buy it with one of their overpriced Macs, unlike Microsoft who supports people like PC retailers and builders who purchase Windows with their builds.

No...it's mostly forum policy that hackintosh discussions are off limits.
