Only recently found this app,am using the free version.
After scanning my network I can identify most of the connections apart from a couple.
How can discover what is using my wifi from the ip address and mac code?
There are two that are bugging me.One says its from the Asix corp but the other is just unknown.
The other thing is when I input a description of a device the prog.does not save it.
Any help would be great.
I am using a mid 2010 imac with the latest o.s.

The IP address won't help identify devices, but the MAC ID (hardware ID) should since that's usually printed on the outside of networking devices, except computers.

Asix corp makes Ethernet chips, so one of the devices you have is using a chip from that manufacturer.

You can always turn off all the devices you know about and whatever is left are your "unknowns".
